Green Baby was set-up in Autumn 1999 by Jill Barker. Canadian Jill had the idea of setting up Green Baby when on maternity leave with her first son Thomas. Jill had been surprised that, compared with Canada, finding natural baby products in the UK was comparatively hard. She has developed a range of products, all of which have been formulated using only natural and, where possible, organic ingredients; they do not contain any synthetic additives, fragrances or petro-chemicals.
Founder of Green Baby, Jill Barker says "More and more parents see green credentials as an important factor in the purchasing decision. They are thinking about what they put on their baby's skins and are aware that their choices can make a difference to the planet. By increasing availability more people can give their children a green start in life."
