I bought this to use in London but found that the solar charger was too weak to provide a meaningful amount of power. I then tried it in the US where there is a lot more sun and got marginally more power. I work for an international organisation so I then gave it to a colleague who lives and works in Sierra Leone. He loves it and finds it very useful since the electivicy supply in Sierra Leone can be unreliable. The moral for me is that a solar charger of this size will work well in a country that gets a lot of sun but is much less useful in more northern countries.
