Benefits of LED Bulbs

LED light bulbs use significantly less energy than halogen bulbs (up to 90% less), thereby helping reduce your energy bills whilst helping the planet, and dimmable energy saving bulbs are no different. As well as being more environmentally-friendly LED bulbs also last far longer, do not need to be replaced as often, thereby making even greater savings whilst being more convenient. They also give out instant light when switched on and display a more reliable colour temperature throughout their lifespan than traditional light bulbs.

Are LED Bulbs Dimmable?

LED bulbs come in both dimmable and non-dimmable versions, and all the products on this page can be used with dimmer switch circuits (to check if your LED lamps are dimmable you can check the packaging or the bulbs themselves). Please be aware that whilst it is fine to use dimmable LED light bulb with a non-dimmable circuit, you should never use a non-dimmable bulb with a dimmable circuit. Doing so could damage either or both of the bulb and the circuit.
